Fred H. Ottley descendant Iola Barker Richardson Lee and husband Gene Gerry Lee live in Quartzsite, AZ, So do Iola’s eldest son Alva Barker Richardson, his wife Sherry and their daughter Alyssa. Alyssa is 14 and attends the local school at Ehrenberg. Iola’s sister Abbie Barker Pyne and husband Leo Vincent Pyne live right opposite Iola & Gene each winter.

Ann Warne Chiswell and husband W.Crawford Chiswell, John Ottley cousins from Plymouth, England, are visiting Iola & Gene January thru March this year.

Thirza-Lou Ottley of the Fred H. branch visited Quartzsite briefly last week.

Laura Bruesch Hunton of the Fred H. branch visited her father Lawrence (Bud) Bruesch who lives in the winter at Quartzsite last week with her daughter Annalee; this was a sad time as Annalee spent days in hospital with a fever before being allowed home to VA with her mother and her father John who had flown down.

Wayne W.Ottley and wife LuRee, Edward II branch, visited briefly too and are gone again today to return to Wayne’s brother Warren who lives in St.George, UT, and is sick.

My mother was the editor of the original Ottley Courier for many years.

I grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho, and some of my fondest memories are of the Ottley Reunions.

I currently live in Provo, Utah. I moved to Utah in 1977 shortly after getting married. I have been divorced since 1986. I have two beautiful daughters and two wonderful grandsons.
